11 Deaths, 28 Miscarriages, 3461 Adverse Reactions: HPV Vaccine’s Dark Side
The stories are coming in from the UK, Germany, Austria and 
America. Teens, pre-teens and young women are dying after taking the HPV vaccine. A significant portion of women who took the vaccine while pregnant later miscarried. Millions have taken it in Europe and millions are targeted to take it in the US.
There has always been reason to question. But now, even more so. So, it begs the question, "Is the HPV vaccine really safe? "
If you ask the FDA, they’ll say YES…but they’ve said that about a variety of drugs that were later recalled or removed from the shelves because they weren’t safe…some that became rather evident after the field test.
So, can we trust them saying, "It’s safe!", to really mean something? 3500 people may disagree.
Apparently side effects such as paralysis, Bells Palsy, Guillian-Barre Syndrome and seizures have been reported. In the UK, reports of paralysis, coma and severe changes in menstrual cycles (moodiness, hormonal imbalance, severe bleeding) have been reported. One of the most alarming statistic was that out of 77 pregnant women who received the vaccine, 33 experienced side effects ranging from spontaneous abortion to fetal abnormalities.
These results come from the FDA’s own Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS) Serious Reaction Reports as supplied by Judicial Watch, which launched a complaint against the FDA and filed suit to get these reports.
However the makers of the vaccine were not concerned over the statistic, stating that it mirrored what happens in the normal population.
Not concerned?
33 of 77 pregnant women having difficulty AFTER getting your vaccine isn’t something to be concerned about? 
Hummm…when I was doing Ob-Gyn, a LACK of complications in young women was the norm. In this case we’re talking a 43% complication rate. That’s not normal!
There have been at least 11 reported deaths in the US and 3 in the UK of girls and young women dying DAYS after getting the HPV vaccine. This is alarming but not enough for the FDA to take another look at its safety.
Even the miscarriages would make one wonder if the vaccine was an incidental to this, or if maybe, just maybe, it caused it. When we have cautions on giving pregnant women drugs and supplements, WHY are we giving them the newest vaccine to hit the market? There is no long term data regarding safety and some short term data that does more than urge caution.
Giving this type of vaccine to a child has had my dander up for quite some time. Making it MANDATORY, well, thems fightin’ words. The proponents act like contracting HPV is similar to getting the common cold. No, you have to do a lot more than sneeze to get it. A LOT more. To me, a better solution would be to teach your kid on the value of abstinence…and let her decide when she’s of legal age whether to get the vaccine or not…with her having ALL the facts, including the potential dangers of this vaccine. 
The danger lie in there being no longitudinal studies on the use of this vaccine in kids. My concern is that millions of girls and young adults will be subjected to unseen dangers, like sterility, other cancers or viruses that may be predisposed by this vaccine…not to mention, death.
It isn’t unheard of.
The problem that I didn’t think of that has a similar end effect as sterility, is that it may somehow interferes with them being able to bear children. Although I’ve looked for the data, I have no clue whether the miscarried fetuses were examined to see if there was any tie to each other.
Of course IF you don’t want to find a problem with your new vaccine, then you won’t want to look for them would you? The potential financial bonanza is huge.
In the UK, the cost for one of these in nearly $1000 in the private sector. So, IF these were being distributed in the school systems of say, the state of California, and they had TARGETED 1 million kids to get it, at that price point, the state would have paid out 1 BILLION dollars for this vaccine. Even at a discount, this is a big undertaking for something that is not contagious and can be prevented by abstinence.
So, what will it be?
In the book, Selling Sickness, Ray Moynihan exposes how drug 
companies market their products by either redefining problems as diseases (like restless legs syndrome) or redefining a condition to encompass a greater percentage of the population. It details how collusion occurs between medical science and the drug industry because much of the funding for medical research and education is by drug companies. And many of lobbyist are for the pharmaceutical industry.
If you don’t recall this machine in action, let me give you a recent example. You learned that something called restless legs syndrome exists. The TV commercials and magazine articles educate you. It tells you that you don’t have to live with it. A drug exists that helps. By the 5th or 6th exposure, you’re wondering whether you have it. By the 10th, you may have already have asked your doctor for the drug you heard about on TV.
Same with the HPV vaccine.
What they don’t say is promiscuity plays a big part in the transmission of HPV. If you’re abstinent, it ain’t a problem. You can’t get it from toilet seats. Plus there is no mention of treating men who often are carriers of HPV.
What about vaccinating little boys?
You still end up with the same potential problems aside from miscarriage.
Let’s look at recent history…
Over the past ten years, we’ve seen many drugs that were passed as ‘safe’ being taken off the market because they were not. Whether it is failure in the drug trials, intentional changes in the documentation prior to submission to the FDA, poor scrutiny on the FDA’s part or inappropriate conclusions, THIS type of thing is happening frequently nowadays. I do not assume that any new drug or vaccine is safe, ever. There are just too many parameters that are involved here…including graft and corruption.
How would you feel if it was your daughter that got seriously injured by this drug? How would you feel if any of your loved ones were harmed by any of the recently recalled medications that caused liver failure, heart arrhythmias or death?
How would you have liked being one of the first recipients of the hepatitis vaccine that not only got hepatitis, but AIDS too? Oh yeah…you’d be dead, so you couldn’t comment.
WHY is there SUCH a rush to put this on the market and make it MANDATORY for girls to get?
Why mandatory?
I’m feeling something sinister here. 
When has it been COMMON for young girls to die suddenly for no apparent reason? I do understand that common sense isn’t common anymore, but come on now…use your mind…something just isn’t right here. There is cause for caution.
Judicial Watch had uncovered two document that detail a total of 3461 adverse reaction to the HPV Vaccine and includes as many as 11 deaths. Actually, they sued to get access to it. They have boldly questioned why are drugs with a distinct social agenda getting less scrutiny in the FDA approval process?
Yes, the HPV vaccine allegedly protects women (and girls) from cervical cancer but opens them up for what? Your guess is a good as mine.
Hopefully there will never come a time when we will be counting the costs of this experiment in lives needlessly compromised – giving this to millions of teens and pre-teens – only to find that they are sterile, have deformed babies (if they can carry them to term), die unexpectedly or get some other horrible cancer.
Could this be one of the biggest field tests of a vaccine that MAY have an alternate agenda?
I shudder to think.
If you do not look for reasons to suspect this drug of some of these problems, you will ignore all evidence that suggests you should.
It comes down to this…
If you allow your daughter to take this shot and something 
happens to her, how would you feel? How would you feel? I know how I would feel…and the amount of pain I would be in every day for making that decision would be excruciating and unyielding. I never ever want to put myself in that situation.
To me, the risk is too great. There is no amount of money that could compensate for this. No amount of money would bring her back or restore her health.
When the choice becomes the life of my child versus battling the school or local government system for their right to opt out, the choice is obvious.

My daughter was given 3 doses of the HPV vaccine approximately 4-5 years ago. We thought we were giving her protection from ovarian cancer who a dear friend of mine died from. That’s why we chose to get her vaccinated. Since then, she’s had unexplained pelvic/hip bone pain and was being seen for unexplained syncope. She is now 19 years old. After reading this article and the following comments, my husband and I are hysterically paranoid that she will have serious reproductive problems. We are Christians, who taught/teach abstinence and waiting until marriage which she has decided to do. Finding out now that the vaccine was totally unnecessary for someone who is strictly planning on waiting til she’s married leaves us bewildered and decieved that we were protecting her. WHAT SHOULD WE DO NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all, I just recieved my first of the 3 shots of the vaccine today and then found this when I got home. The info I got said there are now over 300 known strains of HPV. (Which makes that 4/100 statistic seem even more crazy!) But now I’m really effing scared to get the second shot, so I was wondering if you could post a link to the info about how the second shot was when all the bad crap happened. I decided to get the vaccine today because I also found out today that I have a strain of HPV. Although a low-risk type, I now am kind of confused on whether or not I will always have this or if I will soon be immune to the 1/300+ strains that are out there. So if you have any links on that or could just answer yourself, that would be very much appreciated!

That may be the case in some states, but it’s CERTAINLY not the case in ALL states. Loads of states, particularly in the South, use abstinence only education. They pretend condoms don’t even exist. It’s not very surprising that these states also have some of the highest STD rates in the country. Add to this the federal government is throwing millions of tax dollars at abstinence only education programs that have been shown not to work.
I personally am an advocate of the sex education program the UU church employs. Rather than teaching that you shouldn’t have sex until you’re married, it provides participants with a full view of what sex is, how it can affect our lives, and how to make full informed decisions about our sexuality. And studies have shown that the matter of fact approach to sex used in this curriculum has had a much high success rate in reducing harmful sexual habits. Hi,
I enjoyed your article very much and found the information and compelling statistics useful for my pending VCE year 12 english oral for which I am to present next week.
I am 17, and come from Melbourne Australia. Currently doing my final year in high school I am old enough, i believe to make my own decisions regarding medications and vaccinations. I have not once in my life been vaccinated for ANYTHING and have used herbal and home remedies for measles, chickenpox etc. My parents are firm believers in not vaccinating. This is a decision I respect and have lead a very healthy childhood, built up my immune system to combat the common cold, the flu and childhood illnesses.
When the GARDASIL vaccination was released into schools early last year, both my mother and I jumped onto the internet to research this new so called ‘miracle drug’. What we found was nothing out of the norm in regards to the dangers and adverse reactions. After long and extensive research we came to the decision that I would not be participating in the vaccine program.
I was the only one out of 80 girls in my (then year 11) year who did not inject.
In fact, I was asked straight out why I wasn’t taking the HPV vaccine, and when I replied ‘it just isn’t safe’ I was looked upon like some hippy, and told that I was a silly girl who doesn’t know what she is talking about.
I study Health and Human Development at school, and so presented my findings to my teacher who simply shrugged them off and said I was wrong.
Thank goodness that there have been no reported serious side-effects from the girls in my year level, but certainly the ‘minor’ reactions such as dizziness, fainting, tingling, bruising, pain and discomfort were evident.
This however has not been the case from other schools in Melbourne. Many girls were admitted to hospital, some with paralysis!
So anyway, I am doing my English oral on, obviously the Gardasil vaccination. It’s not so much that I am presenting a point of view on the issue, but I am staging a subtle protest. My aim is not just to get high grades, but to make my assessors (who will be female) think twice about the dangers of this vaccination. I am a very passionate student. And my only hope is that my passion will play a huge factor in my presentation.
I chose your article to comment on because I saw that it was structured similarly to that of a speech, and of course because I believe in everything you have stated.
A question however, would be that I am finding it quite difficult to find recent statistics of the adverse reactions, deaths etc caused by the vaccination. I would be so grateful if you could supply me or point me in the direction of such information.

Thanks for your post…however you didn’t get the point. As far as contagious, I cannot BREATHE HPV on you. You cannot get it from toilet seats. And being in the area of someone that has HPV will not expose you to this.
That is a little different with other illnesses. The Flu, Meningococcus, TB, Mumps, Varicella Zoster (shingles) and the Black Death are all considered contagious, highly contagious.
Zoster usually require CONTACT to the area the outbreak will occur. The Black Death was due to a vector (a flea) that passed the agent (Yersinia pestis), but could be passed from contagious person to non-contagious person. Until they could figure out what caused it, millions died (estimated 1/4 of Europe).
Now let’s compare this with HPV shall we…
In fact, having sex ONCE with a person with a venereal wart may not get you infected with HPV – the docs have never quantified what it take for you to show up having it.
In the days that ‘the clap’ was around, again, it was INFECTIONS, not contageous. You did not get it from toilet seats. You HAD to get it from copulation with someone infected. Even the dreaded herpes could not be passed from toilet seats.

You mention a number of adverse reactions but don’t mention how many people didn’t have the adverse reaction. Without that data, your numbers are meaningless.
Also, HPV IS contagious! Highly contagious, with the majority of sexually active adults being infected!

And abstinence does not work. This has been shown over and over again. Despite the religious right pushing the abstinence agenda, the science shows it doesn’t work.
In fact, I think abstinence programs can be clearly shown to come at a huge cost, as the a third of the US President’s HIV budget is given to abstinence programmes (that DON’T work).

Based on the data from young ladies that received the vaccine, getting past #1 doesn’t mean you won’t have any problems with #2. At least one of the cases of severe side effects and death came after shot #2.
However, the chance of an acute serious adverse reaction appears to be much less than 1% of those taking the vaccine. So, it’s your call.
My concern has always been that side effects and SEVERE adverse effects were not openly promoted in the media blitz, like it is with other drugs. So, parents are somewhat deceived into thinking that there is no major risk with this vaccine.
Case in point: when they started to advertise Meridia, they showed a bunch of happy moderately obese women twirling around. However they ALSO told you of a litany of adverse effects associated with the drug.
They also are doing this with the male enhancement and erectile dysfunction drugs, and even with Rozerem. So, why not with Gardasil?
This article was meant to raise questions and stimulate discussion. I held off writing it for nearly a year until I could find some data on side effects and adverse effects.
If there are any delayed effects from the use of this in pre-teens, it will take years to surface. By that time, the damage will have been done.

I was unsure about giving this shot to my daughter, who is 15. I was concerned that there was not enough data to ensure that the shot was safe. On her last visit to the doctor, I was finally talked into it by one of the nurses who had vaccinated her daughters. After reading this, I am now uncertain again. I don’t know if I did the right thing. She has had no adverse reactions that I know of. If she seems okay with the first shot, does that mean she should be okay with the next two in the series?
